Basics

Living life in Community is the heartbeat behind everything we do at Bridgetown Church. Whether you are brand new to Bridgetown or have been around for a while, you are invited to register and attend Basics as you consider joining a Bridgetown Community in the part of the city where you live.

The first step to joining a Community is attending Basics on Sunday, May 17. Basics is a two-hour course, designed to introduce you to Bridgetown's vision, mission, and regular rhythms for Communities. We will share how we gather during the week around the table to be the people of Jesus in our neighborhoods. There are so many ways that churches run small groups, so we want to share with you our model of Bridgetown Communities.

Our goal is for you to know what it means to be actively present in and committed to a Bridgetown Community. After attending Basics, you will be able to opt-in to being placed in a new or existing Community. If you do choose to opt-in, you will be invited back for our Primer Night - to gather with your new Community, in the auditorium, on the evening of Wednesday, June 3. (If these dates do not work for you, please note that our next round of Basics will be offered in Sept 2026).

Need Childcare? Childcare for kids age 0 – 5 will be offered during both Basics' sessions. Make sure to include them on your registration.
